Nursery
For the littlest ones in your ohana, we welcome you to our nursery! Located just behind our center lawn, parents are welcome to drop off their keiki with our staff, or even stop in to check in on them as needed. Complimentary nursery care is available for children ages 0-3.

To our mothers, this is also a safe and comfortable place to feed infants or comfort their cries and wiggles.
On behalf of Aiea United Methodist Church and our amazing Sunday School leaders, we warmly welcome you and your children to the Children’s Ministry Sunday School program. We are thankful for you choosing to make Christian Education a priority for your children.
Sunday school
All kids ages 4 through 6th grade are welcome to join in with our Sunday School classroom. Children are provided with a short lesson plan, activity, craft and of course – play time! Children older than 5th grade are encouraged to assist the adult Sunday school teachers.

Parents can check in their children prior to the worship service starting, and walk them to our nearby Sunday School classroom, located in the fellowship hall.
Events
Throughout the year, AUMC youth + their families are provided with an assortment of family-friendly activities and events!

The big hit of the year is our summer Vacation Bible School. VBS is a fun and energetic week/weekend program for children K-5th grade to learn about God’s story. This summer program is designed to encourage children to dig deeper in their walk with Jesus Christ. Each day is packed with music, Bible stories, skits, games, crafts, dinner and more. VBS is not just for AUMC members or regular attenders; we open up VBS to all of Aiea and its surrounding communities, giving keiki a chance to make new friends and us to welcome new people into our ohana.

Additional youth events include our annual White Sunday celebration during worship, Easter + Christmas and our Halloween Hallelujah Night (video below!)

With the Scuba theme, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with a real, loving, trustworthy God - a friendship that lasts forever! Scuba is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch!
Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and creative crafts are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Each year we offer VBS as a free program, where kids learn about God’s Word and His love for them.
